Gas with ammonia-like odor under normal temperature.m.p.-93.5°C,b.p.-6.8°C. Specific gravity 0.66.Easily soluble in alcohol,ether,water,and etc .Easily burn.

Uses

Used to synthesize rubber sulphating accelerator, pharmaceutical, dyestuff, insecticide,surfactant, etc.

Packing and storage

Anhydrous Monomethylamine ,use tank truck or steel cylinder; Monomethylamine solution,use 200L metal pail. Tightly closed to store in cool and ventilated places,avoid sunlight and using units which easily cause static electricity,prevent from striking and vibrating.
